Razumevanje potreba za spavanjem vašeg novorođenčeta

Uspavljivanje novorođenčeta može biti problem, jer se njihov san razlikuje od našeg. Ali napad je najbolja odbrana. Što više znate o bebinom snu, lakše ćete se izboriti sa svim izazovima.

San vaše bebe će se menjati kako bude rasla. Naime, san vaše bebe može biti pogođen ili prekinut kako se bliže razvojne prekretnice. Evo šta možete očekivati kao nov roditelj:

0-3 meseca

Prvo, treba da budete svesni da novorođenčad puno spavaju...ali retko kad "u komadu". Teško da se može napraviti neki raspored spavanja, jer kod tek rođenih beba tek treba da počne da se proizvodi melatonin, hormon koji reguliše san.

Normalno je da novorođenče spava od 14 do 17 sati dnevno! Međutim, njihov san je razbijen na male fragmente - dremke mogu trajati od 20 minuta do 2 sata, a noćni san obično traje oko 2-3 sata.

Novorođenčad takođe imaju male stomake – kod bebe od nedelju dana je otprilike veličine kajsije – pa moraju često da se bude kako bi jeli, otprilike svaka 2-3 sata.

Najvažnije je nuditi ih često da spavaju. Cilj je da ih uspavate nakon 45-60 minuta budnog stanja. Spavanje dovodi do više spavanja, tako da će dobro spavanje danju značiti bolje spavanje noću! Takođe se preporučuje buđenje novorođenčeta nakon dva sata spavanja, kako bi moglo da jede dovoljno tokom dana i ne spava previše tokom dana.

Spavanje će za mame i tate biti pomalo nedostižno tokom ovog perioda, pa treba da imaju realna očekivanja. Ali postavljanje temelja za dobar san je veoma važno.

3-4 meseca

Oko 12-16. nedelje života, bebe počinju da proizvode sopstveni melatonin, poznat kao hormon spavanja. Melatonin je ono što nas navodi da želimo da zaspimo noću i da spavamo do jutra. Iako bebe u ovom uzrastu počinju da ga stvaraju, one ne proizvode „potpunu“ količinu melatonina da bi prespavale celu noć, tako da to još uvek ne treba da očekujete! Često nestaje oko 3 ili 4 sata ujutro, tako da rani jutarnji sati mogu biti teški. Povijanje, kretanje i beli šum zaista mogu pomoći. Neka i soba bude super mračna!

Mnogi roditelji dece od 3-4 meseca su svedoci veoma kratkih dremki svojih beba, jer one tek počinju da uče da samostalno spavaju i bore se da ostanu u snu. To je normalno! Nastavite da im nudite dremke svakih 1,5 do 2 sata kako biste sprečili da budu preumorne. Zapamtite, što više spavaju tokom dana, to bolje spavaju noću!

Najveća razvojna promena je što mnoge bebe počinju da se kotrljaju u ovom periodu, što može izazvati velike promene u njihovom snu, uključujući strašnu četvoromesečnu regresiju sna. Postoji mnogo načina da se spremite za ove promene i primenite proaktivne rutine kako biste umanjili uticaj na san vaše porodice, kao što je dosta "vremena za stomak" tokom dana. Takođe, imajte na umu da ako se kotrljaju više nije bezbedno da ih povijate, što može dovesti do toga da se češće bude.

4-6 meseci

U ovom periodu mnogi roditelji kažu da vide velika poboljšanja u snu svojih beba. Vaša beba sada može da spava duže, a nadamo se da ćete se i vi više odmarati!

Bebe počnu da budu duže budne, i možete im napraviti neki raspored spavanja. Od 4 do 7 meseci ponudite im 3 dremke: u 9:00, podne i 15:00. Vreme za spavanje ne bi trebalo da bude kasnije od 18:30. Uvek treba da idu rano na spavanje ako nisu dremale tokom dana!

U razvojnom smislu, bebe počinju da jedu čvrstu hranu otprilike u to vreme, što može da ometa san ako imaju poteškoća da svare ono što su pojele. Pokušajte da uvedete novu hranu ranije tokom dana kako bi imali više vremena za varenje!

Kako se njihova proizvodnja melatonina povećava, bebe prerastaju svoju potrebu za pokretima tokom sna. Možda ćete otkriti da bolje spavaju bez toga. Uvek možete podesiti kretanje na MamaRoo nosiljci ako otkrijete da je vaša beba spremna da se odvikne od pokreta u pripremi za prelazak u krevetac.

Za dobar san vaše bebe iskoristite alate iz kutije sa alatima. Prva i najvažnija stvar je da vaša beba ima bezbedno mesto za spavanje. Preporučuje se deljenje sobe (ne deljenje kreveta) do najmanje 6 meseci. Ovo može biti krevetac ili kolevka/nosiljka poput MamaRoo nosiljke za spavanje. I dok tek rođene bebe često mogu dobro da spavaju u svetlijim sobama, mrkli mrak pomaže razvoju melatonina, posebno u onim ranim jutarnjim satima, tako da je vredno pobrinuti se da njihova soba bude veoma mračna od prvog dana.

Bebe takođe napreduju u rutini — istraživanje je pokazalo da se bebe od tri meseca mogu osloniti na obrasce koji će im reći šta će se sledeće desiti. Zato, pre odlaska na spavanje, bilo da se radi o dremci ili vremenu za spavanje, pokušajte da stvorite doslednu rutinu kako biste joj pomogli da shvati da uskoro treba da zaspi. Ne mora da bude dugo ili komplikovano! Pročitajte joj kratku priču, stavite je u vreću za spavanje, uključite belu buku, ugasite svetla i stavite ih dole.
